The governments of the member states of the European Union agreed today on the ninth package of sanctions against Russia due to Moscow’s attack on Ukraine, EU diplomats announced.

The package will be formalized through what the EU calls a “written procedure” by noon tomorrow.
“Sanctions have been agreed upon. Written procedure until noon tomorrow.”, said one of the diplomats.
