The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his address to the citizens last night, stressed that the defenders continue to “inflict catastrophic losses on the Russian forces.”
He added that the number of helicopters shot down in Russia would soon reach hundreds.

Zelenskyy: “Russia lost more in 19 days than in the two wars in Chechnya”
“They have already lost 80 fighter jets, hundreds of tanks and thousands of other equipment. In 19 days, the Russian army in Ukraine lost more than in the two bloody and protracted wars in Chechnya.”, said Zelenskyy.

He added that the enemy was confused because he did not expect such resistance from the Ukrainian defenders while telling the Russian soldiers to die or surrender.
