The hometown of Ukraine’s Eurovision representatives was hit by Russian missiles just moments before the band Tvorchi took to the stage in Liverpool.

The mayor of Ternopil, Serhii Nadal, said that warehouses were damaged in the attack, while the head of the regional administration, Volodymyr Trush, said that at least two people were injured.
Just 10 minutes before going on stage, Creators on Instagram cited reports of the attack on Ternopil.
“Ternopil is the name of our hometown that was bombed by Russia while we sang on the Eurovision stage about our steel hearts, indomitability, and will.”, they said after the performance.
