Kensington Palace has released three portraits of Duchess Catherine on her 40th birthday.

The elegant photo session was made in London by Italian photographer Paolo Roversi.

The lavish creations worn by the beautiful member of the British Royal family are the work of the Alexander McQueen fashion house, which was also responsible for her wedding dress.
