Princes William and Harry team up to unveil a new statue of Princess Diana
The statue was erected in the garden of Kensington Palace in honor of the 60th birthday of the “Queen of Hearts“.
“Today, on the day of our mother’s 60th birthday, we are reminded of her love, strength and character – qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better. Every day, we wish she was still with us.”, reads a joint statement by William and Harry.
Diana’s appearance on the statue was inspired by the official 1993 Christmas card, in which she poses with Harry and William.
