Sam is known to be from Iran and is the youngest of 4 children. At the age of 12, he moved to the United States with his father.

He grew up in Los Angeles and admits that as a child he didn’t have healthy eating habits. As a student, he played rugby, but after losing the opportunity for a scholarship he continued with an unhealthy diet due to which at one point he weighed as much as 291 pounds.

After he managed to lose 100 pounds in a period of only 6 months, his life changed dramatically.

Today he is a fitness trainer, model and actor and he met his fiancée Britney Spears during the recording of her video for the song Slumber party from 2016, where he played the role of her lover.

He revealed to Men’s Health how he maintains his body today and what his rules are for good nutrition.

 

“My diet starts with products that are natural and grown from the ground, and in no case do I consume processed food.”, he says.

His day starts at 7 o’clock in the morning with cardio exercises before breakfast and these exercises last until 8 or 9 o’clock.

Usually, eat breakfast rich in protein: 4 to 5 eggs and fresh vegetables, and in no case do not consume carbohydrates in the morning.

As for lunch, he says he consumes a balanced diet consisting of 25% carbohydrates, 25% vegetables and 50% protein.

After lunch, he continues to exercise, after which he must take a protein drink. During the day he repeats the same meals, but they must be distributed in proportion to lunch.

Although today he works as a fitness trainer and actor, in the past he also worked as a cook, so he admits that there are days when he decides to relax and rest from a strict diet, so in those days the first thing he reaches for is a hamburger and french fries.

 

“I try to be disciplined when it comes to my diet. In 95% of my diet I try to eat healthy, and only in 5% of cases I take the food I want to eat.”, he says.
