“During a lengthy telephone conversation initiated by the French side, Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron had a serious and significant exchange of views on all aspects of the situation around Ukraine.”, the statement said.
Putin told Macron the three conditions that Ukraine must accept
Putin told Macron that a solution to the Ukraine crisis was possible only if Russia’s legitimate security interests were unconditionally taken into account, including:
- Recognition of Russian sovereignty over Crimea.
- Demilitarization and denationalization of the Ukrainian state.
- Ensuring the neutral status of Ukraine

The President of France has talked several times with the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the last hours, the press service of the Elysee Palace said.
