Adviser to the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak today welcomed the promises of the United States and its allies to send more heavy weapons to Kyiv, after talks at the German airbase Rammstein and said that “Ukraine is becoming stronger.”
Podolyak: “Bad news for Russia, the Ukrainian army is stepping up”
“One of the strange demands of Russia at the beginning of the war was the complete demilitarization of Ukraine. After yesterday’s epochal meeting of 40 defense ministers, I have bad news for Russia. Capacity, speed, simplified logistics, expanded range of weapons – Ukraine is getting stronger.”, Podolyak wrote on Twitter.
A meeting of representatives of 40 countries for the armament of Ukraine was held at the US military base Rammstein in Germany, and the meeting is hosted by the United States.
“Ukraine believes it can win, as does everyone here.”, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin told Rammstein.
The commander-in-chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Millie, has warned that Ukraine needs additional military assistance and that the coming weeks are “critical”.
