Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, now ex-couple, have officially stated that they will remain friends and that they will continue to support each other in joint projects.

Although they recently denied the news that they are breaking up the engagement, now Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have separated. Namely, the former couple in the show Today revealed that they are officially breaking up the engagement.

“We realized that we are better as friends and we are happy that we will continue to be drinkers. We will continue the cooperation and support each other for our joint projects and businesses. We want the best for everyone and for our children. Out of respect for them, the only thing we can do is thank all those who supported us.”, said Jennifer and Alex in an official statement.

The famous singer Jennifer Lopez and Alex have been in a relationship for four years, and after the romantic engagement in the Bahamas in 2019, they twice postponed their wedding due to the pandemic. Alex got along well with twins Emme and Maximilian, Jennifer’s children. She also had a great relationship with Natasha and Ella, the children from Alex’s first marriage.

The reason for the broke up is unknown. But it was reported last month that Alex was having an affair with an American reality star known from the “Southern Charm” show, Madison LeCroy, which she denied.

Jennifer Lopez is currently in the Dominican Republic where she is shooting the new movie Shotgun Wedding. She posted a photo a few days ago in which many fans noticed that she was not wearing the $1.8 million engagement ring.

Also, Jennifer Lopez didn’t wear the engagement ring when she had a photo shoot for the cover of InStyle magazine. In the interview, she cited statements from former partners Marc Anthony and Ben Affleck, but not from Alex Rodriguez.
