Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy gave an optimistic assessment of the war in a video message to the nation early this morning, urging Ukrainians to continue resisting, British media reported.

“We are a nation that thwarts the enemy’s plans for a week. They will not have peace here. They will not have food. They will not have peace here.”, Zelenskyy said.
He did not comment on whether Russian forces had captured several cities, including Kherson.
