The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, said that his country had suffered more than $500 billion in damage since the beginning of the Russian invasion.

He stressed at yesterday’s meeting with the leaders of the three EU countries – the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia in Kyiv – that Russia should pay for the reconstruction of Ukraine after the war.

Shmyhal added that Ukraine would seek financial assistance from allies.
