The first group of civilians from Azovstal was evacuated
“They have been transferred to the agreed location and hopefully will be evacuated to Zaporizhzhia, a territory under Ukrainian control. We hope that this process will continue and that we will be able to evacuate all civilians.”, said Deputy Regiment Commander Svyatoslav Palamar.

Earlier, the Russian news agency TASS reported that a group of 25 civilians, including six children, managed to get out of the Azovstal underground gallery, which dates back to Soviet times.
