“Let me tell you a secret! This 2021 I appear in a bikini at Sports Illustrated. What an incredible honor to be in such a beautiful magazine. I’m proud to write history as the first Asian curvy model in Sports Illustrated.”

 

Nu, who is of Japanese and Dutch descent, says Asian girls find it very difficult to grow when they are overweight. She says the beauty standards there are that women should be very thin.

She says that every woman has the right to show her body and feel beautiful and sexy.
