Actor Willie Garson known as Stanford from Sex and the City died

Willie Garson has died. The famous actor, who many of us remember as Stanford Blatch from Sex and the City passed away for the last time at the age of 57.

Actor Willie Garson known as Stanford from Sex and the City died

The famous American was battling pancreatic cancer, but it has not been confirmed whether that was the cause of his death.

The sad news was announced by his son, Nathen. In a post on social media, he wrote:

“I love you very much, Dad. Rest in peace and I am glad that you shared all your adventures with me and achieved so much. I’m proud of you. I will always love you, but I think now is the time to go on your adventure. You will always be with me. I love you more than you know and I’m glad you can be at peace now. You have always been the strongest, funniest and funniest person I know. I’m glad you shared your love with me.”

Garson has been filming several scenes from the sequel to Sex and the City, entitled And Just Like That. He was last photographed on the set in July.

Colleagues from Sex and the City paid tribute to Garson with posts on social media.

“The ‘Sex and the City’ family has lost one member. His soul and dedication were present every day on the set of ‘And Just Like That…’ He was there, doing his best while he was sick.”, said the series’ producer, Michael Patrick King.
