At least 44 people were killed last month when a Russian missile hit a residential building in the eastern city of Dnieper.

“This is not a repetition of the past, it is the everyday reality of our country – a country with absolute evil on its borders.”, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram.

In a separate tweet, Zelenskyy wrote that “the only way to stop Russian terrorism is to defeat it – with tanks, fighter jets, long-range missiles.”

Kyrylenko published a photo showing a four-story building that suffered extensive damage.

The Ukrainian editorial office of Radio Free Europe released a short video showing rescuers working under floodlights as snow falls on the ruins. Ukraine accuses Russian forces of indiscriminate shelling of civilian infrastructure, a charge Moscow routinely denies.
