He attended the coronation of his father, King Charles III, at Westminster Abbey. Although Harry kept a low profile and sat in the third row with Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, a source close to King Charles confirmed that he was “delighted” to see his youngest son there.
However, photos from the event did not show any interaction between the two Royals. Harry left the coronation soon after it ended and returned to California to celebrate his son Archie’s fourth birthday with Meghan and Lilibet.
Harry’s appearance at the coronation came after the release of his tell-all memoir, Spare, in which he exposed several family secrets, including ones involving King Charles, Prince William, and Princess Catherine.

In the book, he expressed his heartbreak over how the Royal houses pitted him and William against each other. In an interview after the memoir’s release, he said that his late mother, Princess Diana, would be sad to see where their relationship stands today.
