US President Donald Trump defended the use of firearms in the United States, claiming that during the November 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris, there would have been fewer casualties if any of the victims were armed.

No one carries weapons in Paris, and we all remember the dead 130 people and the huge number of terribly wounded,” Trump said in Dallas during his speech at the US National Weapons Association convention.

Trump said people were “brutally killed by a small group of terrorists who had weapons” and added that members of that group had enough time to kill innocent civilians one by one.

“It was a” boom,” come over here, “boom, ” come over here, “boom”, the US president said, and vividly demonstrated the attackers with a gun in their hands.

In his words, if someone had weapons at the time and sped it onto the terrorists, they either would have run away, or would have been shot, and then it would be completely different story.

To recall, on November 13th, 2015, in a series of terrorist attacks in Paris carried out by radical Islamists, 130 people were killed and more than 350 injured.
