Bradley Cooper has opened up about his addiction to drugs and alcohol. The famous actor admitted that he is overjoyed that he managed to fight these big and difficult vices.

“I was very lucky. I got sober at 29 and have been sober for 19 years. I’m very happy.”, said the 48-year-old actor in a new episode of “Running Wild With Bear Grylls: The Challenge.”
“I didn’t get lost in the glory. I definitely had crazy years in terms of drugs and alcohol, but it had nothing to do with fame.”, Cooper said.
Bradley said that his addiction helped him to play the role of Jack so well in the popular movie “A Star Is Born”.
In an interview last year, Cooper shared that a conversation with his friend Will Arnett was crucial for him to realize how big a problem he had with addictions and thus decided to end that crazy journey.
“That was the first time I realized I had a problem with drugs and alcohol. Will told me that and I’ll never forget it. It changed my whole life.”, Cooper admitted.
