It seems that only bad things are happen nowadays and especially to the young people. Very sad news come from Denton County. In the Monday afternoon, teen died in Lake Dallas, when the pickup he was driving rolled over and hit a tree in Sanger.
Zachary Thompson, 16, was pronounced as dead at the scene at 2:19 p.m., according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office. There’s still not information about how the car accident was caused.
As thePublic Safety spokesman Lonny Haschel of Texas Department said, Thompson was speeding on Railroad Avenue near Rector Road when he swerved to avoid a car. His 2006 Chevrolet Silverado struck a tree and rolled over.
In the pickup were four other teens at the time with Thompson, where two of them were in the bed. A 16-year-old and 17-year-old were hospitalized with serious injuries, while a 14-year-old and 15-year-old had less-severe injuries, as Haschel told.
In the pickup was also found a nearly empty 1.75-liter tequila bottle. The Record-Chronicle reported, and authorities were investigating whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
It’s really sad to see that young people die. Most of them are because of reckless driving (we still don’t know about this one). Drive at the prescribed speed, and respect the traffic sings, because they are set for our own safety!
