Meghan Markle and Prince Harry received the honorary “President’s Award” at the NAACP Image Awards. Meghan’s mother, Doria, also attended the ceremony.

They received recognition for their philanthropic work through the Archive Foundation on the pandemic, the Black Lives Matter movement and the fight for racial justice.

At the beginning of his speech, Prince Harry expressed strong support for the Ukrainian people and then said:
“I have a very different background from my amazing wife, and our lives have come together for a reason. We share the commitment to living in the service of others, the responsibility to fight injustice and the belief that it is most important to listen to those who are most often neglected.”
Meghan looked gorgeous in a one-shoulder creation in royal blue by designer Christopher John Rodgers. From fashion accessories, she chose glamorous Aquazzura sandals, earrings by Alexis Bittar, a Cartier bracelet and a gold bracelet that belonged to Princess Diana.
