US actor George Clooney has said he is not considering a political career because he wants to “have a good life”. In an interview with the BBC’s Andrew Marr, the actor talked about US President Joe Biden, his predecessor Donald Trump and his remaining career ambitions.

George Clooney has no plans to enter politics
However, he ruled out entering politics. Asked if he would ever get involved in politics, Clooney said:
“No, because I would really like to have a good life.”
“I turned 60 this year and talked to my wife and said we should think of the sixties as a peaceful year. If we are healthy and we are… I am 60 years old and I can still play basketball and do the things I love.”, he added.

“But in 20 years I will be 80 years old and that is a significant number. No matter how much you exercise, what you eat, you are 80 years old and that is why I said that we should take care to enjoy and live these years in the best possible way.”, he said.
Clooney said he would try to reduce the workload.
“Instead of three things a year, I will work one”
