Humane gesture: Airbnb will provide free accommodation for 100,000 refugees from Ukraine

 

“Today we announced that Airbnb.org is offering free temporary housing for up to 100,000 refugees fleeing Ukraine. These stays will be funded by the Airbnb.org Refugee Fund and the generosity of Hosts.”, writes in the company statement.

Airbnb CEO and co-founder Brian Chesky have called on citizens of Ukraine’s neighboring countries to help open their homes to refugees.

 

“We need help to achieve this goal. We are in dire need of as many people as possible who can offer their homes in nearby countries, including Poland, Germany, Hungary and Romania.”, he wrote on Twitter.
