UNICEF: Every second a child becomes a refugee in Ukraine
“On average, more than 70,000 children become refugees in Ukraine every day for the past 20 days, which in fact every second child becomes a refugee since the beginning of the conflict.”, James Elder, a spokesman for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), told reporters in Geneva.
