Catherine was in kindergarten to learn more about their approach to teaching children how to increase their self-awareness, strengthen relationships with others and understand their role in society, rather than focusing on academic skills such as learning numbers and literacy.

The 40-year-old member of the British Royal family was in a good mood during a visit to a kindergarten in the forest in Copenhagen. Catherine wore a Seeland jacket, black jeans and Blundstone boots.

She participated in outdoor activities at the Stenurten Forest Kindergarten, including chopping wood with a hammer and a running competition holding a child by the hand.
