The intimate photo shows Teigen lying on the operating table after her daughter had been delivered, in a bid to silence critics who had accused her of wearing a fake belly.
She honestly and bluntly described how she experienced the moment and how she felt about the cesarean section:
“The incision is big and you don’t know when your stomach will return to normal and put itself back together. I think my organs were taken out on the table for a second, but I’m cool with that.
I was taking pictures from above. I have the craziest pictures of the umbilical cord and everything. It’s really crazy, but I still think it’s cool.
I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I was laying there awake with my body cut open, and suddenly a baby came out.’ Now Miles and Luna love to look at my scar and call it the baby hole.”
