Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claims that Russia has rejected the ceasefire proposal during the Easter holidays, but added that he still has hope for peace.

He also accused Russia of planning to rig an independence referendum in the occupied southern Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Zelenskyy urged residents of Russian-occupied areas not to give Russian forces any personal information, such as passport numbers.
