The singer was found dead on July 26 of this year, and the cause of her death is still unknown, but her fans in her native Ireland gathered en masse yesterday to pay their respects.

Scores of fans laid flowers outside her former home in the town of Bray, and the funeral procession was led by a Volkswagen Transporter van, playing Bob Marley’s Natural Mystic.

Around noon, the funeral procession stopped in front of her former home where her fans gathered to sing her song Nothing Compares 2 U in unison and with tears in their eyes.

The procession was sent off with thunderous applause, and the video of that moment spread massively on social media.
