The Kessler Twins began their performing careers in post-war Germany, fleeing East Germany in 1952 and later becoming stars in Paris cabarets. Even in their 80s, they continued to perform, saying being together was their source of strength.
Their final wishes were deeply symbolic: they asked for their ashes to be laid together, alongside their mother and even their dog. The story of the Kessler Twins isn’t just about fame, it’s about a lifelong bond that remained unbreakable until the very end.
