Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has again called on NATO to establish a no-fly zone over his country, warning that otherwise Russian missiles could fall on member states.

“If you do not close our skies, it is only a matter of time before Russian missiles begin to fall on your territory, on NATO territory.”, Zelenskyy said.

 

His remarks came after Russian forces fired rockets at the Yavoriv military base, located near the border with Poland, and were commonly used for training and joint exercises by the Ukrainian military and its NATO partners. The attack killed 35 people and injured more than 130.
