Serena Williams is super excited to get the opportunity to help moms who can’t provide breast milk to their little ones.
Serena Williams Donates Breast Milk
The 42-year-old tennis legend, who gave birth to her second child in August, donated her breast milk during a trip to New York. In an Instagram video, Serena shared that she felt amazing about her priceless donation.
“On a recent trip to New York, I had some extra breast milk… I was able to donate it instead of taking the milk home. I know many amazing women who have adopted a child or are unable to produce milk. The feeling is amazing. Someone, somewhere, will get the milk of a super soldier” – wrote the tennis player, who has won 23 Grand Slam titles.
“I’m excited to be able to help… in some way,” she says in the video.
Williams is married to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. They have two daughters together – Olympia who was born in September 2017 and Adira born in August this year.
