The European Union is close to introducing the tenth package of sanctions against Russia due to its invasion of Ukraine, and it is expected today if the differences in attitudes regarding the ban on the import of rubber and diamonds from Russia are overcome, that a final agreement will be reached, diplomats, confirmed from EU member states.

The sanctioned list should include individuals and officials involved in the illegal deportation of around 6,000 children from Ukraine. The 10th package of sanctions is also expected to include seven Iranian business entities believed to manufacture equipment used by Russia in military operations in Ukraine.
The EU wants the 10th package of sanctions to cover individuals and entities accused of deporting children.
