The legendary, one and only writer and publisher of Marvel Comics, who created the X-Men, the Avengers and Black Panther, Stan Lee died.


Stan Lee was 95-year-old at the time of his death. He was taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Monday after suffering a medical emergency and was declared dead shortly afterwards.

The 95-year-old was very well known for creating the Black Panther, Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Mighty Thor, Iron Man, the Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk, Daredevil and Ant-Man, among countless other characters.

He started his business in 1939 and in 1960s, he transformed the Marvel Comics into a cultural phenomenon, by creating stories that were socially relevant.

Stan Lee had recently suffered multiple illnesses, including a bout of pneumonia earlier this year. He revealed that during a press conference in February, where he said that poor health had caused him to cancel several appearances.
